Jakarta – PT. Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk. (BEI Stock Code: HITS), domestic and foreign shipping company, distributing energy (gas, oil, and chemical) for the needs of Indonesian people, received an award as Living Legend Company: Integrated Maritime Transportation Industry which was held by Warta Ekonomi Megazine on Friday (18/1) at Ballroom Thamrin Nine, Jakarta.

 

The award was given directly by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Arcandra Tahar to President Director of HITS, Budi Haryono.

 

Budi Haryono conveyed that the award of Living Legend Companies: Integrated Maritime Transportation Industry is a breath freshener in early 2019. 30 years of running operational activity since 1990 with the Ekaputra LNG Carrier, the company is able to survive until now.

 

“The passage of time, ups and downs of sustainable growth and stability, always trying something new and keep growing, has proven that we survive and Insya Allah it will continue with the support of all stakeholders.” he said.

 

Budi explained that currently, HITS is conducting a business transformation, in the future HITS won’t only provide energy transportation for rent, but also integrated logistics management and supply chain services. This Business transformation towards One Stop Service for Energy Distribution, will be carried out step by step over the next 5 years which will include oil, LNG and petrochemical transportation.
